The only non-natural ingredients we use are a paraben-free preservative to keep our products safe, and some gentle fragrances to bring out the scents of every season. Our fragrances are cosmetic quality and do not contain phthalates. And everything is handmade with loving care in small batches.
Our Lotions & Creams are made from: Pure distilled water + vegetable-derived oils & butters + emulsifier + fragrance + preservative + vitamin E
Our Scrubs are made from: Pure raw turbinado sugar + vegetable-derived oils & butters + emulsifier + fragrance + preservative + vitamin E
Our Lip Balms are made from: Beeswax + vegetable-derived oils & butters + flavor + vitamin E
Butters we use include: Shea Butter Cocoa Butter
Oils we use include: Pomegranate Seed Oil Sweet Almond Oil Coconut Oil Sunflower Seed Oil Safflower Oil Avocado Oil Aloe Vera Oil Jojoba Oil
Emulsifiers & Thickeners: We use emulsifying wax and stearic acid. Emulsifying wax is vegetable-derived, and keeps the water and oil from separating in lotions. Stearic acid is derived from soybeans and helps to thicken lotions and creams.
Preservative: The preservative we use is called Ethylhexylglycerine & Phenoxyethenol. It's a gentler, more natural preservative that maintains excellent effectiveness without parabens.
Fragrance/Flavor: None of our fragrances or flavors contain phthalates
What is Three Seeds NaturalsTM?
Greek mythology tells us the story of Persephone, who was kidnapped by Hades and whisked away to the underworld. Her mother Demeter, the Goddess of the Seasons and nourisher of the Earth, was so distraught she halted the seasons and the earth fell into a barren winter.
Persephone was forbidden from eating in the underworld, but she gave in and ate a few delicious pomegranate seeds. Eventually, Hades freed Persephone, but as punishment for eating, Persephone must spend 1 month each year in the underworld for each precious pomegranate seed she enjoyed.
When Persephone and Demeter are united, the earth blossoms with the seasons of Spring, Summer, and Autumn. And for 3 months each Winter, the earth darkens as Persephone returns to the underworld.
